A book is a device to ignite the imagination

It`s hard to imagine our lives without books. They are our great friends and teachers. On National Libraries Day, 30/09/14 the members of the English-speaking club together with Paul spoke about their favorite books. Paul was the first to describe his favourite book, which is a fantasy novel by J. R. R. Tolkien ‘The Hobbit’. Among other mentioned books there were ‘The Picture of Dorian Grey’ by English author Oscar Wilde, ‘The Count of Monte Cristo’ an adventure novel by French author Alexandre Dumas, ‘For Whom the Bell Tolls’ a novel by American writer Ernest Hemingway and many others.
